Here is a second screenshot of the results from my search that demonstrate the extent of the literature on writing for the web.
My WorldCat search clearly demonstrates that extensive resources are available on writing for the web and thus that it is probably a topic I should investigate further in my study of web design.
The WorldCat search was pretty easy because I am familiar with this specific database and with OPACs in general. The extensive metadata in WorldCat makes pearl growing easy as well. It was nice as it was a smooth search but unfortunately I did not learn much from it in the way of new searching techniques.
This blog was created for TWU course SLIS 5513, Online Information and Retrieval. It chronicles searches for resources on website development and design in a variety of databases, and presents both substantive information on web design and reflections and tips related to database searching.
