I saw an easy way to modify the search suggested by NLM' without risking messing up the complicated Boolean language. I replaced the final "AND English [la]" with "AND (web OR online OR internet)." I think ruling out the few non-English results that might creep in should not be difficult. As you can see, the new set of search results is much more relevant to us:
Several of the top hits mentioned "culturally-relevant" web design or content. This was not a consideration I had seen raised before, I I took a list at these results to see if they were applicable and...they were! Results described in the follow-up post.
This blog was created for TWU course SLIS 5513, Online Information and Retrieval. It chronicles searches for resources on website development and design in a variety of databases, and presents both substantive information on web design and reflections and tips related to database searching.
